Rangers detain 9 suspects in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers launched raid in Nazimabad and Yousuf Goth areas of the metropolis, detaining nine suspects and recovering weapons and drugs, sources said. Meanwhile, a gunny-bagged body was found in Nazimabad whose identity is unascertained yet. An injured person, who was shot other day near Joria Bazar, also succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Angry mobs damaged emergency ward of Civil Hospital and launched violence against the hospital staffers over the death of a man named Shaoib. Sources said that rangers arrested six suspects during their raid in drugs den located in Nazimabad and recovered weapons and drugs. Rangers also carried out raid in Yousuf Goth area and arrested three suspects who were taken to undisclosed location for interrogation, sources added.
