New Zealand declare at 460-9, lead England by 293


DUNEDIN: New Zealand declared at 460 for nine on the fourth morning of the first Test against England to hold a first innings lead of 293.

Hamish Rutherford on debut top scored with 171 while Brendon McCullum scored 74 and Peter Fulton 55.

For England, James Anderson took four for 137 and Stuart Broad three for 118.

England were bowled out in their first innings of the rain-interrupted Test for 167.
