Bollywood icon Yash Chopra passes away

MUMBAI: Legendary Indian director, producer and screen writer Yash Chopra passed away here at the age of 80. Chopra had been diagnosed with Dengue and admitted in hospital.   He setup his own production house ‘Yash Raj Films’ in 1971 and produced several hit films such as Silsila, Lamhe, Dil to Pagal Hai just to name a few. Chopra who was born in Lahore in 132 leaves behind a wife and two sons. He was currently working on ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ which would have marked his return to directing.
