Arrangements for fair elections made: PM

GUJAR KHAN: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said Sunday the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had been made independent and arrangements had been made to ensure that the elections would be fair. Addressing a rally here, the prime minister said that by making the ECP independent there would be no fraud in the upcoming elections. Speaking on the order in the Asghar Khan case, the prime minister said the truth had been revealed to the world and thieves and fraudsters had been unmasked. The prime minister also announced that Gujar Khan would be made a district soon.
