2,500 held during Khyber operation

BARA: Security forces took 2,500 suspects into custody during a search operation in the Khyber Agency. According to security sources, six bombs were also detonated during the operation against militants in the Bara Tehsil. Elsewhere in Khyber, a mortar fired from an unknown location at a silk factory claimed the life of one person. In Akakhel a militant was killed during an attempt to plant a roadside bomb.
