PPP's Shaukat Basra faces land-grabbing case

LAHORE: An FIR has been registered against deputy opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Shaukat Basra for allegedly grabbing land.

Basra said such shallow defamatory tricks could not faze a staunch Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) worker like him.

He said that since 1978 his house had been standing on the chunk of land he was accused of grabbing.

The FIR was registered against him on the complaint of TMO Haroonabad.
