Lyari: Residents protest rangers' operation

Tense situation remains in Lyari area of Karachi .

Residents of Lyari continue to protest against the targeted operation conducted by rangers.

Rangers arrested 16 suspects during operation from Afshan Gali and Nawaalain and confiscated weapons from them.

The rangers also carried out operation in Aath Chowk, Baghdadi, Daryabad, Chakiwada and its adjoining areas.

Huge cache of arms was found in a house that was identified by arrested criminal Sameer.

On the other hand, the angry mob burnt tyres and blocked Daryabad, Chakiwada and Shah Abdul Lateef Bhattai Road.

Three people were also injured in firing while protesting against the operation.
